FENCA is delighted to announce that Finans Norge, representing the Norwegian credit purchasing and servicing industry, has joined as a full member.
Commenting on this announcement Claus Spedtsberg, President of FENCA, said:
“We are very happy to welcome Finans Norge to the FENCA family, and I am especially pleased that we now have the EEA-member and close EU-partner Norway represented again within our membership. Given the numerous financial and economic challenges in Europe and worldwide, it is more important than ever to speak with one strong, unified European voice to highlight the importance of our industry in finding receivables management solutions that benefits businesses and consumers alike.
Commenting on this, Rolf Eek-Johansen, Chairman of the Debt Collection Board of Finans Norge, stated:
“We are proud to become part of FENCA and to strengthen the link between Norway and the broader European debt collection community. At a time of economic uncertainty and rapid regulatory developments, industry cooperation is essential. Important European initiatives, such as the NPL Directive, demonstrate the value of sharing expertise and promoting common standards across borders. Together, we can help shape a modern, responsible and consumer-focused sector that delivers value for businesses, individuals and society as a whole.”
FENCA members subscribe to continuously improve business standards and good practices within the sector across the EU, in order to provide the best possible service to creditors, clients and consumers alike.
